The Department has well-equipped labs to
cater to the needs of the students. Equipments
like IBM X200 Servers, IBM Net vista A22
Intel PIV PCs, IBM Intel PIV PCs, two numbers
of Sun Server SVF-210 machines and seven
numbers of Intel Dual-core machines were
installed and these facilities are used
in the PG laboratory and in the Digital
Image Computing Laboratories.
Software like IBM Rational Suite Enterprise
Software and IDL Software are available
in the PG laboratory and in the Digital
Image Computing Laboratories. LAN Trainer
Kit are installed in the laboratories.
The Department is fully networked, the entire
Faculty rooms, Labs and Office, library
are provided with network facilities.

For the use of M.Sc. students. UNIX and Windows based Network systems and independent systems with latest operating systems and other curriculum related softwares.
For the exclusive use of M.Tech students. High-end servers and high-end workstations like SGI systems. The labs are equipped with scanners, laser printers, CD writers, a modern digital camera, overhead projectors, LCD projectors and other modern teaching aids. The lab is also connected to the Optical Fiber Network Systems (Campus network) and to the Internet.
Another lab with the High-end servers and high-end workstations like SGI system for the exclusive use of M Tech students. The lab is equipped with LCD projectors, CD writers, IBM Think Centre Dual Core machines, with extra graphic cards, etc. The lab is also connected to the Optical Fiber Network Systems (Campus network) and to the Internet
